What is W2QR Wallet?

W2QR Wallet is a secure wallet. Your mnemonic phrase is sealed inside an encrypted QR code. The wallet unlocks it temporarily in memory for signing, then clears all sensitive data.

Security Model

  • Private keys exist only in memory during active sessions
  • Nothing sensitive is saved to localStorage, IndexedDB, or cookies
  • Sessions auto-lock after configured timeout
  • All signing requires explicit approval
  • Page close clears all sensitive data

Limitations

  • Browser-based security is weaker than hardware wallets
  • Cross-chain swaps involve bridge risk
  • No transaction history (check block explorer)
